The Morton School District will have two Veterans Assemblies on November 10 in honor of Veterans Day. Morton Elementary will have an assembly in the gymnasium beginning at 12:45 p.m., followed by an assembly in the high school gymnasium at 2 p.m.​

Morton/White Pass will travel to Rainier on Saturday, November 1 for the District IV Cross Country meet. The boys will race at noon, and the girls will follow at 1 p.m. The top four boys’ and girls’ teams and the top 28 individuals for each race will qualify for the 2B State Championships on November 8 in Pasco.

The Morton/White Pass football team (3-5 overall, 1-3 league) will host Mossyrock (1-6, 0-4) Thursday night (October 30) in Randle at 7 p.m. for Senior Night. This is the regular-season final for both teams. The game can be seen on NFHS Network.
