The Morton Levy Committee will be meeting in the Morton PUD conference room at 6:30 PM this evening to discuss the upcoming levy. Interested community members are welcome to attend.

MSD will be providing transportation for students to the Mineral area after basketball practices and games starting 11/18/19. In part, transportation will be via school van driven by volunteers. Earlier today, The Morton Jr./Sr. High School building received a threat and went into lock-down. Staff and law enforcement reacted very quickly to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Because of the quick response, all students and staff were safe.
Today during lunch we went into lockdown over a that made. The students and building were secured quickly and law enforcement was on scene immediately. The police have spoken to the person who made the tray and we are following-up with the family.
