Hunter Brackett and Noah McCarthy attended the Navy JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps) Northwest Leadership Academy at Camp Rilea, Oregon from June 22-29. There were 163 Cadets in attendance from all over the West Coast. They are both preparing for leadership roles in the newly established Morton High School NNDCC (Navy National Defense Cadet Corps) unit starting next school year.

Please take note of the following important details: Mandatory Graduation Practices: Monday-Thursday at 8 AM Friday at 3 PM (students will stay on campus until graduation) Final Affair/Baccalaureate: Thursday, June 6 at 6 PM in the HS gym Graduation Ceremony: Friday at 6 PM Caps: Students may decorate their caps, which must be approved by Mrs. Hanger and will be kept until graduation. Running Start Students: Please make accommodations with your college professors to attend all graduation practices. Dress Code: Business casual attire is required. Due to facility issues, Morton School District will conduct remote learning on Wednesday, May 21st. Instruction will follow the protocol used on initial snow days. Students or families with questions should contact their teachers during normal school hours. The issue, related to the sewer line, is expected to be resolved by the end of the day tomorrow.
