The Morton School Board approved a request for waiver of days missed due to the Statewide emergency declaration by the Governor. With this request, the days missed from 2/11 - 2/14 will not be made up.
Buses are operating on snow routes today 2/26/19.
School will be closing early today due to snow. The Elementary will close at 12:50 PM and the Jr/Sr High School at 1 PM. All buses will be on snow routes.

The board meeting for 2/19 is being postponed till 2/25 at 6 PM due to weather.

Monday, February 4th: We are on snow routes today, both AM and PM routes.
This afternoon we were forced into lockdown as we were responding to an incident of a person refusing to leave campus and using profanities towards staff. I appreciate our staff and students for their quick response. Also, thank you to the Morton Police for their response.
Our individual with the medical need is currently leaving our facility and heading out for medical treatment with emergency personnel. Than you for you understanding during this event.
The Jr/Sr HS is currently in a modified lockdown due to a medical need. Our students are safe and in class learning at this moment. We will update soon.
