Last week in Onalaska, the Morton/White Pass boys won the 2B Central League Cross Country Championship outpacing six other teams. The Timberwolves finished with 41 points edging Adna (83), Winlock (92), Three Rivers Christian (104), Rainier (116), Toledo (124), and Wahkiakum (128). The Timberwolves will compete at Rainier tomorrow in the 17-school District IV Championships. The girls will run at 11 a.m. with the boys to follow at noon.
Morton/White Pass (4-4 overall, 2-3 league) will travel to Mossyrock (2-6, 2-3) tonight for their final league game in their first meeting since 2017. The game begins at 7 p.m.
The Timberwolves (6-8 overall, 2-5 league) host the Toledo Riverhawks (5-10, 2-5) Wednesday evening at Morton in their regular season finale and Senior Night for 10 seniors. The district volleyball tournament will begin this Saturday at Adna and Forks.

The Morton/White Pass volleyball team (5-5 overall) will host Mossyrock (5-4) tonight in Morton. The C-team match will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by the junior varsity and varsity matches.

The Timberwolves (2-3 overall, 0-2 league) return home to play Winlock (0-5) Friday in Randle. The Cardinals are short in players, so it will be an eight-man game.

The Morton/White Pass cross country team will run in their first meet at Sunnyside tomorrow in the 12-school Sun Burn Invitational. The middle school race will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the high school girls (11:50 a.m.) and boys (12:30 p.m.).

The Morton/White Pass track team travels to Kalama today for the 11-team Central 2B League Championships. The field events will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the track events at 5:30 p.m. The top five in the laned events and top seven in the distance and field events will advance to the District IV Meet in Chehalis on May 17.
