On behalf of the staff, we want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during today's lockdown event. A threat was made towards the school, and our Jr/Sr High Principal, Mrs. Hanger, followed our practices and put both buildings in lockdown due to the threat. Our local Police Department and Sherrif's Office were very helpful throughout the process as they worked and constantly communicated to us constantly with updates. We had to go back into lockdown when it was determined that the person making the threat was not with the authorities. Many parents were also helpful by giving us important information as they got them so we could help communicate with the authorities. A thank you to all the families for your patience. Our students were great and handled the situation beyond any expectation we could have. Finally, thanks to our staff who pitched in and did whatever was needed. Many staff members escorted students home to ensure their safety from school to the front door.
