
This message is for Morton Intermediate School Families regarding the remote learning day tomorrow. Students do not have school issued Chromebooks at this time. The high school library will be open from 7:00am-9:00am tomorrow morning (Friday 4/18) for laptop check out for any students who need one. If these times do not work for you and your student, please reach out and we will accommodate this to the best of our ability. Teachers will be sending more detailed information via email and Rooms, regarding classwork on Google Classroom . Teachers will also be sending information regarding open Google Meet sessions for students to connect with teachers. Feel free contact the office if you have any questions.

This is an update on transportation for May 6th. The shortage of bus drivers today will affect some bus stops, meaning that some may be around 10 minutes later than usual. The transportation shortage and impact are expected to last through Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, with a potential delay of 10 minutes for pickup and dropoff.

Morton School Distict will be operating today with a shortage of bus drivers. Due to today's shortage some routes will be affected. For this morning the Highland Valley Route will occur after other buses drop off students from other routes. Some of the affected areas will be Highland Valley, Short Road, Davis Lake, and parts of Morton. All schools will accommodate students who arrive late due to this transportation change, and breakfast will be provided for students when they arrive. Further changes will need to be arranged for after school transportation, with information coming later today with the details of the changes. It is unknown at this time of the needs for today's changes will occur tomorrow or subsequent days.

Good afternoon intermediate families! This is a reminder that Bell Studios will be at Morton Intermediate tomorrow afternoon, Friday, March 15th for class pictures and spring individual pictures for those who order them.

Due to multiple staff members being out, the Intermediate monthly PAWS assembly scheduled for Friday has been cancelled. We will be recognizing all January award winners in next weeks Tuesday packet as well as the February PAWS assembly on 2/26. Please contact the office with questions.

Morton School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to committees to write the for/against statements for the Lewis County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to the District’s Replacement of Expiring Educational Programs and Operation Levy ballot measure to be considered at the February 13, 2024 election.
