ES: Starting on Oct. 19th, PK will continue with 4 days per week. Kinder will continue with 5 days per week. Grades 1-6 will follow hybrid schedule M/Th or T/F. Sorry for any confusion.

ES: The elementary welcomes kids back starting Oct. 19th from 8-2pm in hybrid model. If you are unsure which days your child attends please contact the office or your teacher. Masks are required.

If you have a child between the ages of 3-5 in our district, Morton Elementary is now enrolling for free preschool. See flyer for details.

ES: School pictures are available for pickup at the elementary office for those who had their pictures taken. Office is open M-F, 8-3pm.

ES: Parents, please note Wednesday schedule change. This will remain in place during Remote Learning. The elementary school day will run 8am to 2pm Monday through Friday. Students may still have independent work after 2pm each day.

ES: Students have between 30-45 minutes of assigned sessions (depending on grade level) with time in-between to complete work. The school day is 8am-2pm.

ES: All schools are directed to assess student skills and address gaps. Students will be taking our STAR and various other assessments this fall. This is a requirement of all students and helps staff address student needs.

ES: Two way communication will be essential and vital as we are in online learning. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact your teacher. Please make sure we have your information on file in the office.

ES: All class sessions will be done via Zoom during online learning. This helps students by only using one platform during this time. Orientation will cover this topic.

Morton Elementary will be having individual fall pictures by Lifetouch on Wednesday, September 9th from 9-3 in the elementary gym. Watch for online ordering details soon.

ES: The 1st five days of school (Sept. 1,2,3,8 and 9th), during orientation, students will be issued Chromebooks for use if needed.

Morton Elementary will will be starting the 20-21 school year in a distance learning model. In this model, students will learn from home. Chromebook checkout and daily schedules for students will be announced.
