Powerful Examples of Excellence Banquet is planned for this evening.  Congratulations on your achievements – enjoy the awards banquet.

MWP HS baseball & fast pitch teams lost to Adna yesterday.  Baseball scores 4-13, 0-10  Fast pitch 0-10 & 8-9. Both teams will be in action again tomorrow.

There will be a Blood Drive here at the High school tomorrow from 11:30- 5:30 pm.  Students 16 & 17 years of age must have a signed permission form to donate which they can get in the high school office.  The donation will be in the blood mobile bus located in the high parking lot.  Donors can sign up for appointments with Mrs. Merriman in the library before Friday.

The MWP HS Boys Basketball Awards presentations will be this coming Sunday April 22nd in the WPHS commons starting at 1 pm.  Please bring your uniforms and practice gear with you to turn in.

Prom Pre-Sale tickets are on sale now!  You can purchase them at the high school office before or after school.  Pre-sale tickets cost $15.00 for singles and $20.00 for couples.  Reminder ~ Prom is a FORMAL dress code event.  Contact Taylor Hazen or Sydney Brooks for more information & prom details. All ticket sales sold in Pre-Sales ~ money will stay in Morton Junior Class account.

There will be an FFA meeting for those attending state convention tomorrow during lunch in Mrs. Hanger’s classroom.  This is a mandatory meeting for all participants.

With the 4th quarter just begging, a new grade check begins also.  Keep your grades up!!  Only 4th quarter grades determine your eligibility for spring sports, but your end of year – 2nd Semester grades will determine your 2018 fall sports.

The OnStage Children’s Theatre Education program is holding a Rock Around the Clock 50’s Theme fundraiser, Dance-A-Thon on Saturday April 21st at the Tiller Arts Center in Morton.  Entry fee of $5.00, more information flyer on office window.  Grab your group of friends & dance all day!

Civic Engagement camp is a 2 day camp consisting of games, outdoors and opportunities to be of service to the community. If any 7th or 8th graders are interested in building skills on the Cispus challenge course while building leadership skills as well, contact Jack with AmeriCorps to get your application.  Applications are due on April 20th – successful applicants will be notified by Monday April 23rd.
