Morton School District No. 214

The Morton School District is inviting all retired school employees to a Retiree Dinner on Tuesday, March 20th at 4:30 pm in the high school library prior to the board meeting. Please contact April Kaech in the District Office at (360) 496-5300 for further information.

The Morton/White Pass girls beat South Bend (60-42) and will next play Saturday afternoon (Feb. 18) in Centralia against Napavine in a winner to regional/loser out game at 2:30 p.m.

The Morton/White Pass boys lost in the semifinals Thursday (Feb. 16) in to the Toutle Lake Ducks 59-44. They now face Mossyrock on Saturday (Feb. 18) in Centralia at 4 p.m. in a winner to regional/loser out contest.

We will be having a special event January 24 at Morton Elementary School. We are offering a FREE LASAGNA DINNER from 5:30-6:30. Then at 6:30, Flint Simonsen will speak briefly to us about Positive Behavior and Intervention Support. To cap off the evening, Tom Manke will hold a levy forum at 7:00. Please join us for any or all of these events.

School in Morton on January 19 is closed for the day. All extra-curricular activities are cancelled.

School for the Morton Elementary, Junior High and High School will be delayed two hours on Tuesday, January 17th. Buses will be on snow routes. Check out King 5 news for more updates.

At halftime of the Morton/White Pass game against Napavine this Saturday (January 14th), the 1962 State B Championship team will be honored. This is the 50th Anniversary of their 70-30 win over the St. John Eagles.

The Morton Schools will be on Christmas Break from December 17 through January 2. School will resume on January 3rd.
