White Pass Superintendent Rebecca Miner will be offering a Cyber Safety Information Night for Parents. This class is available for any interested parents in the East Lewis County area on April 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. in room 205 at White Pass High School. Dinner will be included. Morton High School will host a banquet honoring the Morton/White Pass boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, cheerleaders and band on Sunday, March 30 at 2 p.m. It will be a potluck and open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend the banquet in the gymnasium.
The Morton School District will be hosting a parenting class presented by Centralia College during the spring quarter. This is a video-based parenting program designed by The Love and Logic Institute, Inc. The class will be hosted at the Morton Elementary School on Mondays from 4 to 6:15 p.m. The dates will be March 31, April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12,19 and June 2. Child care will be provided. We have narrowed down our Principal/Superintendent search for the Morton School District to two candidates. There will be an opportunity to meet John Hannah on Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jr./Sr. High School.
